Written by: MailgoAug 12, 2025 · 2 min read

This article explains how to set daily sending limits for your accounts and campaigns to control your outreach volume effectively.

Example Scenario:

Imagine you want a campaign to send 500 emails per day, and you have 10 sending accounts available for it. To ensure no single account is overworked, you would set:

  • Campaign Limit: 500
  • Account Limit: 50 (for each of the 10 accounts)

How to Set an Account Limit

  1. Go to your Email Accounts dashboard.
  2. Click on the email account you want to configure to open its pop-up window.
  3. In the Settings tab, find the "Daily sending Limit" field.
  4. Enter the maximum number of emails you want this single account to send per day.

Recommendation: Make sure your sending limit match Email healthy score (Prefer to choose Daily recommended sending value to avoid influence healthy score)

How to Set a Campaign Limit

  1. Navigate to the campaign you wish to edit and open its Settings.
  2. Go to the Options tab.
  3. Find the "Daily limit" field and enter the total number of emails this campaign should send per day.

Best Practice: A safe and effective campaign limit can be calculated by multiplying the number of sending accounts by their daily limit. For instance, if a campaign uses 2 accounts, each with a limit of 50, a good campaign limit would be 100 (2 accounts x 50 emails).
