Not enough time to complete sending
Issue Description
Have you encountered the following prompt while running a Mailgo campaign?
"This indicates that the sending schedule was too short or the number of sender accounts was insufficient to complete the task. Learn more. Please view details in the pop-up window."
This error occurs when Mailgo’s system determines that the campaign cannot be executed as planned, due to one or both of the following reasons:
The pop-up window will provide specific details (e.g., the required minimum end date, or the number of additional sender accounts needed) to help you address the issue accurately.
Resolution Steps
To resolve this issue and ensure your campaign runs smoothly, you can choose one of the following two solutions based on your business needs:
Solution 1: Adjust the Campaign’s End Date
- When the error pop-up appears, review the Suggested Date displayed (this date is calculated by the system to ensure the campaign can be completed with your current sender accounts and daily sending limits).
- Navigate to the campaign’s scheduling settings.
- Update the End Day to either:
a. The system-provided Suggested Date, which aligns with your existing resources to avoid delays; or
b. Select "No End Day", which removes the fixed end date and lets the campaign proceed at a pace supported by your current sender accounts. - Save the updated schedule. The system will automatically adjust the daily email sending volume to fit the new time frame.
Solution 2: Add More Sender Accounts to Increase Daily Sending Capacity
- If you prefer to keep the original campaign schedule, you can boost your daily sending ability by adding more active sender accounts.
- Add more Active accounts to this campaign or click "Add to " and follow the on-screen instructions to set up and verify the new account (ensure the account completes necessary authentication steps like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to maintain deliverability).
- After verifying the new sender account(s), return to your campaign settings and associate the new account(s) with the campaign.
- Save the changes—your campaign will now use the additional sender accounts to meet the required daily sending volume and stay on schedule.
